Trade war intensifies competition among enterprises and how to transform LED lighting industry

Since last year, the United States has been trying to "tax" China. After the G20 summit in December 2018, the US government imposed a tariff rate of 10% on 200 billion US dollars of Chinese goods. On May 8, the U.S. Trade Representative Office (USTR) issued a statement announcing that the U.S. will raise tariffs on $200 billion of Chinese imports to the United States from 10% to 25% on May 10.

Home real estate and commercial real estate are generally depressed, market demand growth is relatively small, and Sino-US trade friction adds a fire to the already competitive LED industry. Raw material prices fluctuate from time to time and due to high prices, the price of finished products is greatly reduced, which makes the profit margin decline year on year. In addition, the shrinkage of replacement market space has also affected the overall market capacity, and LED enterprises are in urgent need of transformation.

In order to help enterprises find the direction of transformation, Big Bit will hold the 31st (Ningbo) Seminar on LED Lighting Driver and Intelligent Lighting Technology on May 31. The topics of this conference include: LED driving power technology scheme, LED lighting dimming scheme, LED light source and optical technology scheme, LED lighting wireless connection technology scheme, LED intelligent control and reliability analysis, LED intelligent lighting technology scheme, LED lighting policy and standards, and the industry development trend of LED intelligent lighting.
